“I wish I could gather all the students’ drawings on their individual tablets onto one screen and make a big piece of art…”
The collaborative art app that makes this teacher’s warm wish come true is finally here!
What is “Minna no Canvas”?
It is a free web app that allows teachers to collect illustrations drawn by students on their own devices in real time and combine them into a single, large masterpiece on the teacher’s screen. Just like the popular picture book “Swimmy,” where small pictures gather to form a giant one, you can easily experience the joy of collaborative art in the classroom with zero preparation using GIGA devices. It’s highly versatile—you can create a sea of fish, a field of flowers, or a sky full of stars depending on your lesson!
1. Teacher Dashboard & QR Code
Simply generate a QR code from the teacher’s screen and let the students scan it to start immediately. Absolutely no account registration or complicated login is required!
2. Students’ Drawing Time
Students can easily draw cute illustrations using the handy “Tracing Template” feature on their tablets. Even children who are not confident in drawing can participate and enjoy the activity.
Once finished, they send it straight to the teacher’s screen with a fun animation!
3. Everyone’s Art in One Place!
The illustrations drawn by the students are collected and displayed on the teacher’s screen one after another. You can safely manage the canvas by tapping to erase any unwanted drawings.
4. Custom Backgrounds & Alignment
You can set any image as the background, or use the special alignment mode to neatly arrange the characters. If someone is facing the wrong way, just tap them to flip their direction!
And just like that, the teacher’s wish to combine everyone’s art into one masterpiece has come true!
